Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Walkthrough

INTRODUCTION
Professor Rowan (the Professor of Sinnoh) will appear and will talk about Pokemon. He will then give you an option of being a boy or girl. For the sake of this Walkthrough I'm going to assume your a boy. He will ask you for your rival's name. Let's call him Rival for the walkthrough.

TWINLEAF TOWN
There will be a newspaper report about a search of the rare Red Gyarados. You can now move your character. Go downstairs and talk to your mother. She will teel you to visit, Rival. Go outside and to the house nextdoor. Before you enter Rival will crash into you and run back inside. Follow him in and up the stairs. He will go back down.
Go north at Route 201 Rival will be there. He will say stuff about the Red Gyarados on TV and then you can walk again. Go west into the forest since you cannot go east yet.

inside the forest you will notice Dawn and Professor rowan talking. The will leave, but professor Rowan has forgotten his suitcase. What do you think you should do steal it haha. No you will be attack by two wild Starly at level 2. think wisely about which Pokemon to choose from the suitcase because that Pokemon will be your starter.

The Pokemon you choose will be used to battle one of the wild Starly. Lets say you chose CHIMCHAR. Your rival will choose the one that your pokemon is weak to and will battle the other one. Defeating the Starly is pretty easy so there is no excuse if you lose to it.

After the battle Dawn will take back the suitcase. Exit the forest and you will find Professor Rowan and Dawn examining the case. They notice that two of the Pokemon are gone. Professor Rowan tells you to go to his lab in Snadgem Town. OH your in for it now. Go back home and tell your mother. She will give you RUNNING SHOES.

ROUTE 201

Wild Pokemon: ENCOUNTER RATE: 30%
Starly: level 2,3 MORN: 50% DAY: 5o% NIGHT: 40%
Bidoof: level 2,3 MORN: 50% DAY: 50% NIGHT: 60%

Battle the trainer which should at least get CHIMCHAR to level 6.

SANDGEM TOWN
Dawn will lead you to Professor Rowan's lab the moent you enter Sandgem Town. The Professor will finally decide to let you keep CHIMCHAR. he will ask you to travel throughout Sinnoh. If picked yes he will give you the POKEDEX. You will have to go back home and talk to your mother. She will heal CHIMCHAR. Rival's mother will walk in and give you the PARCEL in which you are supposed to give to Rival in Jublife City.

Dawn in Route 202 will teach you how to catch a Pokemon by giving you a demonstration on a Bidoof. She will give you 5 POKEBALLS afterwards.

JUBLIFE CITY
Dawn will tell you that Rival is at the Pokemon Trainer School. Go there. The TRainer School is left of the Pokemon Centre. Give him the PARCEL. Rival will give you a TOWN MAP. If you want EXP you can battle the two trainers on the blue carpet.

TRAINERS:
School Boy: Abra level 6 MALE

School Girl: Abra level 6 MALE

The Abra's should be easy as they only know hidden power. The boy after defeating the two will give you TM10 HIDDEN POWER.

When you try to go past the School a business man will approach you and say that he will give you a POKETCH if you bring him three COUPONS. found on the three campaign clowns.
The clowns are in the following locations:

-Behind the Pokemon Centre
-Out side the Poketch Company
-In front of the TV Station

Each clown will ask you a yes or no question. Answer yes to them all and they will give you a COUPON.

If you head west of the Poketch Company and talk to the a fisherman and answer yes to his question he will give you an OLD ROD.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Pal Park

Pal Park enables you to trade from past games by putting them in the GBA slot. Pal Park resides at the end of route 214. However you can only migrate Pokemon from the same language not region as once thought.

1. Go to the menu in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
2. Select MIGRATE FROM............................
3. Choose the six Pokemon to migrate
4. Go in catch them using Park Balls which have 100% capture rate.
.There are many places to catch Pokemon depending on their type.
.All stats and items will be kept so no need to worry that they won't be the same.
.If you catch all of the Pokemon in enough time you will be rewarded with a berry.
.The stronger they are the harder to find.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl National Dex

In order to obtain the National dex you have to see the first 150 pokemojn in sinnoh, which is pretty easy. How do I see Palkia in Diamond and vice versa then problem fixed. Talk to the old lady in the top house in Celestic Town after defeating the League. She will show you a pic of Dialga/Palkia.

Then go to Sandgem Town to visit Professor Rowan if you have seen 150 pokemon. Professor Oak will barge in and upgrade your pokedex so now you can see all 493 pokemon.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Arceus Factor

Arceus is said to be the God of all Pokemon. Which gives it strong stats. Infact its total base ranks the best out of everyone. Throughout the game you will find plates that changes Arceus's type depending on which plate you give to it. Its fairly obvious which plates give him what type.
Arceus starts off as a normal type. As seen in picture.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Deoxys Factor

Unlike in other games Deoxys can change its form without trading. First go to Veilstone City. And
talk to the meteorrites, if you have Deoxys in your team.

On December 26th in Japan Pokemon Battle Revolution was released in Japan.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Legendaries

LEGENDARY POKEMON LOCATIONS

Dialga/Palkia
At the top of Mt. Coronet after defeating the Team Galactic Grunts, Admins and Boss, you will battle Dialga/Palkia depending on which version you have. Dialga=Diamond and Palkia=Pearl. You won't be able to heal before you battle em. They are at level 47.





Uxie
After battling Dialga/Palkia you can battle Uxie. It is at Lake Acuity. It is at level 50. Be sure to save before hand as you can only battle it once.





Azelf
After battling Dialga/Palkia you can battle Azelf. It is at Lake Valor. It is at level 50. Be sure to save before hand as you can only battle it once.





Mesprit
After battling Dialga/Palkia you can battle Azelf. It is at Lake Verity. It is at level 50. But when you go to battle it it runs away and can be found anywhere in Sinnoh. You can track it using the Poketch.





Heatran
After obtaining the National Dex go to Stark Mountain. You will see a trainer. Guid her to the end of Stark Mountain. She will take the item she wants and go. Go to Survival Area and talk to her in one of the houses she will go back to Stark Mountain. Go back there as well and at the end Heatran will be there. It will be at level 70.





Regigigas
He is at the temple north of Snowpoint City. He will be asleep until you transfer Regice, Regirock and Registeel into your game make sure they are in your team. Regigigas will be at level 70. Beware as he is strong.





Giratina
After obtaining the National Dex go to route 214 there will be a cave. Go in it and find your way through the maze. Giratina will be at the end. He will at level 70.





Cresselia
After obtaining the National Dex. Talk to the sailor he will take you to Full Moon Island. Cresselia will be the only thing there. It will be at level 50. It will run away and can be found anywhere in Sinnoh. You can track it using the Poketch.

PHIONE/MANAPHY
Manaphy is the only legendary that can breed. It evolves into a Pokemon called Phione.
Phione cannot evolve however. Phione has slightly different stats and attacks but that is all of there differences. So comes in handy to trade but I myself would keep it.





Darkrai
Once you obtain the Membership Pass at an event. Go to Canalave and stay the night at the motel that was previously closed. Stay there the night. Darkrai will visit you in your dream. A diary will be there when you wake up. Talk to the sailor he will take you there. It will be at level 40.





Shaymin
When you obtain Oak's Letter go to the White Rock on route 224 which will have been extended. Battle Shaymin it will be at level 30 so be careful.





Arceus
When you obtain Heaven's Pipe. Go to where you battled Dialga/Palkia and use the pipe on the symbol between the pillars. Talk to Arceus it will be at level 80. The highest level wild pokemon so be prepared.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2

A few weeks ago in the CoroCoro magazine they said that they were going to release a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2. They are called Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Time and Darkness Exploration Team. Not much is know about them but they are slighly different. For example you catch criminals based on info provided by the guild. And to find hidden treasure.
The starters include: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Pikachu, Munchlax maybe Meowth and another one.

Breeding Manaphy the big mystery

MANAPHY is the only legendary that can breed. It evolves into a Pokemon called PHIONE.
Phione cannot evolve however. Phione has slightly different stats and attacks but that is all of there differences. So comes in handy to trade but I myself would keep it.

Pokemon Ranger Mission: Retrieve the Stolen Egg

In order to obtain Manaphy in Pokemon Ranger go to Ranger Net. Press X and left at the same time. Enter password: P8M2-9D6F-43H7. Select Play mission and choose the Egg one. And than you have to retreive the stolen egg from Team Go Go Rock.
Now you have to trade hime to Diamond and Pearl. Just view the egg screen and send message to Diamond and Pearl and follow the prompts. When transfered go to the Poke'mart and talk to the green guy he will give you the egg. YOU"RE DONE NOW
