Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Walkthrough

INTRODUCTION
Professor Rowan (the Professor of Sinnoh) will appear and will talk about Pokemon. He will then give you an option of being a boy or girl. For the sake of this Walkthrough I'm going to assume your a boy. He will ask you for your rival's name. Let's call him Rival for the walkthrough.

TWINLEAF TOWN
There will be a newspaper report about a search of the rare Red Gyarados. You can now move your character. Go downstairs and talk to your mother. She will teel you to visit, Rival. Go outside and to the house nextdoor. Before you enter Rival will crash into you and run back inside. Follow him in and up the stairs. He will go back down.
Go north at Route 201 Rival will be there. He will say stuff about the Red Gyarados on TV and then you can walk again. Go west into the forest since you cannot go east yet.

inside the forest you will notice Dawn and Professor rowan talking. The will leave, but professor Rowan has forgotten his suitcase. What do you think you should do steal it haha. No you will be attack by two wild Starly at level 2. think wisely about which Pokemon to choose from the suitcase because that Pokemon will be your starter.

The Pokemon you choose will be used to battle one of the wild Starly. Lets say you chose CHIMCHAR. Your rival will choose the one that your pokemon is weak to and will battle the other one. Defeating the Starly is pretty easy so there is no excuse if you lose to it.

After the battle Dawn will take back the suitcase. Exit the forest and you will find Professor Rowan and Dawn examining the case. They notice that two of the Pokemon are gone. Professor Rowan tells you to go to his lab in Snadgem Town. OH your in for it now. Go back home and tell your mother. She will give you RUNNING SHOES.

ROUTE 201

Wild Pokemon: ENCOUNTER RATE: 30%
Starly: level 2,3 MORN: 50% DAY: 5o% NIGHT: 40%
Bidoof: level 2,3 MORN: 50% DAY: 50% NIGHT: 60%

Battle the trainer which should at least get CHIMCHAR to level 6.

SANDGEM TOWN
Dawn will lead you to Professor Rowan's lab the moent you enter Sandgem Town. The Professor will finally decide to let you keep CHIMCHAR. he will ask you to travel throughout Sinnoh. If picked yes he will give you the POKEDEX. You will have to go back home and talk to your mother. She will heal CHIMCHAR. Rival's mother will walk in and give you the PARCEL in which you are supposed to give to Rival in Jublife City.

ROUTE 202

Wild Pokemon: Encounter Rate: 30%

Bidoof: level 2,3,4 MORN: 30% DAY: 30% NIGHT: 30%

Dawn in Route 202 will teach you how to catch a Pokemon by giving you a demonstration on a Bidoof. She will give you 5 POKEBALLS afterwards.

JUBLIFE CITY
Dawn will tell you that Rival is at the Pokemon Trainer School. Go there. The TRainer School is left of the Pokemon Centre. Give him the PARCEL. Rival will give you a TOWN MAP. If you want EXP you can battle the two trainers on the blue carpet.

TRAINERS:
School Boy: Abra level 6 MALE

School Girl: Abra level 6 MALE

The Abra's should be easy as they only know hidden power. The boy after defeating the two will give you TM10 HIDDEN POWER.

When you try to go past the School a business man will approach you and say that he will give you a POKETCH if you bring him three COUPONS. found on the three campaign clowns.
The clowns are in the following locations:

-Behind the Pokemon Centre
-Out side the Poketch Company
-In front of the TV Station

Each clown will ask you a yes or no question. Answer yes to them all and they will give you a COUPON.

If you head west of the Poketch Company and talk to the a fisherman and answer yes to his question he will give you an OLD ROD.

Now head east to Route 203
